Hello Again Family,

Well this is the fourth area I´ve been in where I´ve had to start over in looking for new investigators. So I`m used to that already.
I`m suprised I live in the city. I was told that Villa Rica was all campo. I guess they were wrong.
We live in a little house on the second floor, above a lawer, located on the streets Azara and Mscal Lopez.
Micah, Where is my music?
Nobody has written from their personal emails yet. I can`t respond personally like somebody wanted me to without them.

I really don`t know what to say besides my comp acts like an annoying little brother. Not like Micah, but like an adopted brother. Elder Yaringaño has only one more change than me. He`s from Lima Peru, but he has Japanese ancestry. Besides that I know absolutely nothing about this area. We tried talking to some members, but so far nobody has been available to give us references. For a place that has a Capilla I don`t understand how there is only 40 people who come to church on sundays and how almost all of them are women. Why are there so many girls in Paraguay? Where are the Future Elders?

We share the area with Elder Anderson and Elder Sanderson. They are cool. Elder Sanderson is going to finish his mission soon. He`s from Utah. He`s funny and nice. Elder Anderson is new, so he doesn`t speak well and understand everything yet. He`s from Arizona. He`s tall, but he doesn`t like basketball. Weird I know. He`s funny and nice too.

I honestly don`t know what to say. There has been a lot of nothing on my end. We`ve only taught 2 lessons. One guy didn`t like us and the other is too old to understand (and or hear) anything. We only get 1 or 2 lunch appointments a week. But the food is cheaper, so thats good. I`m out of money and I don`t know how long it will take to reemburse it. The trip drained me of all my money and I only have enough to buy food for the next week. I had to pay for a bunch of other crap that the past Elders never paid too. But honestly I have no idea where all my money went. I might have to pull out some personal money again. I hate that.

I`m not sad that I left my last area, but I am suprised. This will be a fun new experience.

Emotionlessly,
Elder Zachary James Singson

Dear Family,

I just found out that I got changed to a new area. I´m reopening a new area. I´m suprised cuz I´m not district leader anymore. I´m going to the Kau´Guasu which is inbetween Asuncion and Ciudad del Este. I´m in zone 8 an area called Villa Rica 1.2. I´m going to be with Elder Yaringaño from my district here. Honestly I think God is punishing me again. Elder Yaringaño is super childish, prideful, and annoying. Ugh. I don´t mean to be negative, but we did so much work and I was expecting to stay and get at least 1 more baptism. Now Elder Gillette is District Leader with a guy that has less time than him. It´ll be interesting.

Anyways here was my week. On Tuesday I spilled yellow paint on me when I was trying to get the cap off. I tried to wash it off immediately, but it´s still there. Not too noticable, but yeah you can see it. At least it didn´t get on my tie. Just my pants and shirt. After changing clothes we went to Jose and Gladis. It was a very interesting lesson. They said that they will pray and stuff, but they want to be Posotivo and not just Sure before they get baptized. Jose said that "if you get baptized and go back to the way things were it doesn´t serve you. You have to go to church every Sunday and do your best". With an answer like that I hope he gets baptized.

On wednesday we taught a group of indigenous people. The lesson was good until one of the guys started trying to pull off the shirt of this one girl. We ended that one early. I shook hands with one girl and she tickled my hand with her middle finger, That means I want to break the law of chastity with you. Yeah we´re never going back there. We finally found the place that sells good and cheap food (One of the reasons I´m upset I got changed). A family that we gave fecha dropped us today. We knocked on their door after clapping the house for a long time. We knew they were home. So after knocking the dad answered the door and said "This is the first and last time you will knock on my door. I´m not interested. Me and my family are staying Catholic. I wasn´t upset I just want to know why everybody accepts fecha if they don´t like us. We must teach too powerfully with the spirit or something.
That night I got a call from Elder Reyes in Natalio. He told me that Elder Yaringaño got hit by a Moto. He didn´t break anything but after getting sideswiped his leg swelled up and he couldn´t walk on it. I told him to call Hna Callan and go to a members house and get a blessing. He was walking fine again the next day.

Thursday We did divisions so I could do two baptismal interviews. Elder Yaringaño said he was well enough to go with Elder Gillette back to Obligado. So I stayed with Elder Reyes. We taught only women and girls. Thankfully Sergio a recent convert who is preparing for a mission came with us. I helped one girl accept Fecha. I taught lesson one to one girl and got her friend who previously wasn´t interested to let the missionaries pass by and teach her too. I was basically working the place. Compared to Obligado Natalio 10 is cake. Unfortunately we couldn´t find the baptismal interview'ees. Elder Gillette called me a billion times to tell me how annoying Elder Yaringaño was being and how he really missed me. (That also became annoying).

Friday morning Jefferson, one of the guys who needed an interview called us and told us that he´ll be at his house at 10:30am  so we delayed the trip back to Obligado till 1. Unfortunately he never showed until we left. The bright side is I got to talk to a girls mom who wasn´t going to get her baptized until shes 18. So, in 6 years. After talking to her and testifying with the spirit not only did I convince her to pray to ask God if her daughter should get baptized, but I also convinced her to get taught by the missionaires as well.
It was like on Star Wars when Obi-Wan tells the Storm Troopers "These aren´t the Droids you´re looking for". After asking her how she felt the mom said "I feel compelled by something to let my daughter to get baptized, but I would still like to pray about it".
After hearing that I basically told her that once she see´s her daughters baptism and talk to the missionaries she will want to get baptized too. She just said "Si" to everything I said. She looked like she was about to cry. I felt like a Jedi with Force Persuasion powers.
When I finally got back to Obligado 5pm we found a guy who we´ve been looking for since July. Miguel Florentine. He was drunk when we talked to him, but he said he wants to follow the church that his mother was faithful too (Mom Falleció). Anyways we taught him and now he has fecha. The rest of his family are members so I don´t think it will be too hard to baptize him.

On Saturday we taught a couple of lessons, but it was hard to teach because for some odd reason I had a crazy allergy attack. My eyes were itchy and red, I had a super uncontrollable runny nose, and I was sneezing literally every five seconds. That kind of sucked. Juan Karapuni

Sunday we taught our first official lesson with Hna P. and Bibi. It didn´t go nearly as planned. After the guy we were teaching started talking about the 2 black and 2 white angels things started getting out of hand. Bibi basically taught the entire lesson in 10 minutes and we didn´t get a word in. At least we were invited to return, but next time the missionaries will be in control. Only 20 Came to Church.

That's all about me week, but I got your package and looked at the photos and all I got to say is...
Wow Kayley doesn´t look little anymore. How tall are you¿
Micah´s hair was super long and Elder Gillette said that you are the man.
Marisa looks the same, but I really liked the dress you wore.

I´m out of time,
Elder Zachary James Singson
